My name is Ling, and this is an adventure. I'm 20 years old and live in Calgary, Canada where I spend my days being generally grumpy about the fact that I am most likely stuck here for at least another two years. My heart was stolen by Quebec City and I hold a special love for Vancouver. Since Alberta is neither QC nor BC, you can probably see my problem.

In my spare time, I am a variety of very contradicting things. On one side, I love to stay home, and play on my computer, or read, or watch DVDs. On the other, I love nothing more than to be big and loud and doing crazy things in front of an audience. I have a fascination with history, particularly around World War Two, and at the same time, I am planning on going to school to deal with tonnes of technical stuff.

I'm at that age where I'm trying to piece things together. I have all the lovely hardships someone of my age and location generally has: I have a job, but it isn't something I enjoy; I want to go to school, so I am working to afford it; there is someone in my life that I would very much like to curl up with and hang around for a long time, but that's not going to happen.
